The FIAMM 12FGL70 is a high-performance, long-life AGM VRLA battery, built for demanding backup applications where reliability, safety, and maintenance-free operation are essential. Designed for 10+ years of service life (EUROBAT “Long Life” classification), it offers fast recharge, stable performance, and long-term durability in critical environments.

The FGL series uses Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, with a sealed, non-spillable, and fully recyclable ABS container. It is safe for air/sea/road/rail transport and can be installed either vertically or horizontally. Its low self-discharge rate makes it ideal for backup systems and energy storage even during extended standby periods.

AGM Technology: (Absorbed Glass Mat) batteries offer improved performance with faster charging, longer life and safer operation. These Batteries are constructed with an absorbent glass-mat separator between the negative and positive plates. Special safety valves are fitted to minimize electrolyte dry-out ovet the life of the battery. 

Gel Technology: Gel Batteries use a jellified electrolytrev between psitive and negative plates to minimise dry out of the cell. Batteries with a GEL internal structure are very versatile. They offer excellent long life and perform well in a wide range of temperature conditions.

Flooded Technology: Batteries with a flooded electrolyte are extremely robust and havethe longest life of lead acid accumulators. These cells are manufactured with clear containers showing electrolyte levels to allow periodic topping up.

General Purpose AGM Battery

The FGL range of valve-regulated batteries is designed to be maintenance-free. The special lead calcium tin alloy grid is designed for a 10-year design life and provides a short recharge time.
This industrial battery has a wide range of applications and can be charged and discharged many times. The FGL range is designed around AGM VRLA technology with the exterior casing made in ABS plastic, fully recyclable, non-spillable and maintenance-free. FGL range is non-hazardous for air/sea/rail/road transportation. Batteries can be installed in upright and horizontal planes. With a low self-discharge these battery are an ideal solution for periods when batteries may be stored.
