Its security systems protect your device, as well as this battery has multiple levels of protection including overcharge/discharge protection, overheat protection, and pressure relief vents which expel waste gas in the rare case of an internal short circuit preventing an explosion.

SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION
A protective circuit is built into the anode and covered with 2 riveted steel hats. The battery is fully covered with the steel shell, thus the potential risk of short-circuiting caused by collision or impact is hugely eliminated.
PRESSURE RELIEF VENT
Fenix makes the battery safer with pressure relief vents that can expel waste gas generated by the internal short circuit, which rarely happens to such quality batteries, so as to prevent the ill coil from lasting and secondary hazards like an explosion.
MULTIPLE PROTECTION
Ensures the safe use and good performance of the battery. This battery provides 3 sets of overheat protection, pressure relief valve, separate microporous and PTC cathodal block protection.
